John M. Connolly Sr. - Principal

Prior to establishing MMG, John spent over six years performing a variety of sales and sales management roles at Avid Technology, Inc. Avid is an international, publicly traded software company, regarded as the world's leading provider of fully integrated digital video, audio, film, graphics, streaming and shared storage solutions. In his capacity as Strategic Account Manager, John was responsible for consulting with Avid's largest customers throughout the entire Midwest. In his role as Regional Sales Manager, John was also charged with developing ancillary business through Avid's extensive dealer network. John was consistently recognized by Avid as one of their top sales performers in the country while gaining the trust and respect of his clients through his extensive product knowledge and his genuine understanding of customer relations and service. He is highly regarded in our industry for his exemplary personal integrity and his firm commitment to excellence. Prior to joining Avid in 1992, John was a Commercial Sales Executive for Oracle Corporation, responsible for selling Oracle's industry leading relational database management systems, (CASE) application development tools, financial/manufacturing software solutions and office automation modules. John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from the Boston College School of Management.

Michael RC McDonald - Principal

Mike was founder and President of AVR Technologies and Avid Rent Central. In 1993, Mike incorporated Avid Rent Central, Inc. and began the process of building one of the fastest growing rental houses in the Midwest. He rented Apple, Avid, IBM, JVC, Panasonic, and Sony to the production and post/production communities throughout the entire United States. In 1995, Mike incorporated AVR Technologies and became a systems integrator/reseller for several industry leading manufacturers. After two years of building a solid reputation as an industry expert on the requirements for rental applications, he now had the ability to actually sell digital new media applications to his clients as well. His professional reseller experience with AVR Technologies set the stage for John and Mike to eventually join forces, leading to the formation of Midwest Media Group, Inc. in 1998. Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
